Object Description

Pair of Staffordshire Pottery figures which feature an elephant with a mahout and a tiger on it’s back, stood directly on the ground, no base. Bright gilt embellishment. Decorated ‘in the round’ – decoration to front and reverse. Vent holes are present. Maker’s marks painted to the underside.

Object Condition

Generally Good. Any damage, wear, original manufacturing defects (kiln effects) or restoration, when present, is not overly detracting.
