Pair Thomas Sergent Palissy Majolica Candlesticks

Object Description

Pair of Thomas Sergent French Palissy Majolica candlesticks which feature blossom and leaves around the base. A lizard peering up at a snake to the stem. Colouration: brown, green, grey, are predominant. The piece bears maker’s marks for the Thomas Sergent pottery.

Object Condition

Left side: Very Good. No restoration. Flake to the base. Right side: Generally Good. RESTORATION. Two stabilised and retouched cracks to the stem.
