Object History

Handwoven, with the finest hand spun wool in Karabakh, a region that is in present-day known as Eastern Armenia and Southwestern Azerbaijan. The female population of this region are known for the professional weaving techniques and skills, famous to this day for their Fine wool carpets.

The colours come from natural dyeing techniques which have been used for generations. Hand-knotted densely, making them hardwearing and so suitable for any high traffic interior, this piece is sure to last for decades if cared for correctly.

Object Condition

This piece shows some signs of wear and tear but colours that look as though they were dyed yesterday. Ready for use in any home.
