Object Description
Pigeon’s blood Burmese ruby and diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese Pigeon’s blood ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.85 carats, flanked by two cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.98 carats, to a graduating three stone design featuring curving claws, finely pierced collet, and circular open backholing, the trumpeting shoulders flow through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested 18 carat yellow gold, circa 1900, accompanied by a Gem Research Swisslab report #2015-122581.
