Object Description
An unusual late 19th century polished brass circular jewellery and scent casket.
The casket has a lift off lid with rope twist details and is engraved and enamel inlaid with a polished stone pietra dura panel.
The interior is black leather lined and holds a circular leather and blue velvet perfume bottle holder and a matching jewel tray.
The bottle holder has four square perfume bottles with gilded screw tops and a gilded lifting rod in the centre.
The jewel tray has a leather tab in the centre to lift with and the casket has a rope twist detail around the plinth base that matches the lid.
The casket and leather are in good condition. (Circa 1880)
