Object History

Exhibited at the Southgate Gallery, Gloucester in 1989 at “THE NEW ENGLISH TRADITION” Catalogue No18. (Label on reverse).
Christa Gaa was born in Hamburg and studied art in Cologne, Bonn and Florence. She was working in Cologne from 1975 until 1980 when she move to England where she exhibited at the Royal Academy and at the New Grafton Gallery, where her memorial exhibition was held in 1992.
She was married to Ken Howard RA
