A very good quality antique serpentine mahogany chest of drawers of great colour.
English Circa 1900.
One of the best coloured early 20th century chest of drawers we have had for sometime.
Very well constructed, the serpentine book match veneered top having a cross banded and moulded edge over a pull out brushing slide and graduating four oak lined hand-cut dovetailed mahogany drawers with brass swan neck handles.
The canted corners having bling fretwork with the whole being raised on shaped bracket feet.
In excellent condition having been wax polished with a fine original colour and ready for home use.
This antique chest of drawers is earlier than most of its type having been constructed with solid timber. A very heavy chest for its size.
