Object Description
Circa 1900, quality oak framed Orkney chair. The shaped oat straw back finished with marram grass, the polished oak frame with typical Orkney shaped arms with curled ends supported on rectangular uprights (bolted to the sides). The drop-in seat with woven marram grass over square, slightly tapering legs intersected by conforming stretchers.
