Object Description
This lovely quality pair of crested shell bowled Honeysuckle pattern serving spoons were made in London in 1825 by Francis Higgins and measure 8 7/8 inches in length, they are crested to the fronts with a lions head and a sword running through it and are fully and clearly hallmarked on the back of the stems, the well formed bowls are fluted shell design and they are in very good condition and weigh 6.60 ounces or 206 grams.
