Object Description
This quality pair of early rat tailed George I Hanoverian Britannia silver spoons were made in London in 1714 by Benjamin Watts and measure just under 8 inches in length and have long well defined rats tails to the backs of the bowls, they bear the engraved initials of S*E to the backs of the bowls below what appears to be double cypher initials, they are fully hallmarked to the backs of the stems and are in very good condition weighing 4.45 ounces or 139 grams.
