Object Description
A Stunning 18th Century Chippendale Period Mahogany Childs High Chair
Having Pierced Fan Splat Back Above Drop In Seat With Turned Safety
Bar Raised On Elegant Square Chamfered Legs Terminating With
Unusual Kicked Feet
(This is an extremely rare example of a Childs Chair taking the attractive form
of a relatively standard 18th century mahogany chippendale period side or
single chair scaled down and then built on high legs. Its quite rare to find
one that this much effort has been put into the form and construction of and
this was clearly originally made for an extremely wealthy family. Still very much
fit for purpose with the removable footrest this would make a fabulous addition
and talking point to any family home)
