Object Description
A rare 19th Century Fijian paddle club “Culacula”. The paddle blade with serrated edges on both sides and terminating in a cross bar, the full length of the shaft previously bound with plaited coir. Restoration to one end of the cross bar carried out in our workshops. A similar club previously in the Leo and Lillian Fortess Collection.
