Object Description
A very fine quality French late 19th century Sevres style and gilded ormolu clock garniture. Having a pair of four branch candelabra, each with ram’s head and female mask mounts, drapes and inset Sevres style porcelain plaques with classical hand painted figures.
The clock having cobalt blue ground porcelain with gilded detail, an urn above the porcelain faced clock with Roman numeral, an eight day duration movement which strikes on the hour and half hour. porcelain columns either side of a classical gilded bronze female musician and child, scrolling foliate mounts either side and raised on a plinth base with inset porcelain plaques.
Measures: Clock 41cm wide x 15cm deep x 60cm high
