A stunning and rare antique Heriz kelleh dating from the late 19th century, the colours and design are simply beautiful. Woven with a geometric stylised flower and leaf design in the main field and a large scrolling border design, often Heriz carpets will have larger medallions or bigger patterns this piece is classed as a rarer all over pattern. These designs are extremely rare to come across, especially in this amazing original condition. The variation of pale blues, brick red tones, pale greens are natural dyes from the best era in Persian weaving. This long carpet kelleh would look remarkable on a wood floor in the entrance hall, living room or study.
