Object Description
Circa 1900, an exceptionally rare set of 22 solid oak American armchairs. With a deep shaped top with 2 large cross rails over curved arms which are supported on a shaped upright. The solid oak, saddle shaped seats have a simple apron, and are on square and slightly outswept rear legs. With cabriole legs to the front which finish on a simple toe and several interconnecting solid oak stretchers. A set of sturdy chairs in good condition.
