Object Description
Rare Georgian mahogany decanter and glass holder of really nice design. Nicely turned uprights with thin mahogany bars and mahogany base. Judging by the old marks to the base this would have stored a pair of decanters and 6 glasses. I’ve never seen one quite like it. Perfectly honest although some of the thin bits of mahogany have been replaced in Edwardian times. Nice colour with good patination and a waxed finish.
