Object Description
Rare set of George 3rd mahogany Ships hanging shelves of beautiful fine design. The shelves were original made for a ship with them being suspended by the side cords only allowing the shelves to move with the ship. Beautifully turned thin uprights with finials to the top and bottom. The mahogany shelves with half round applied mouldings to the edges. Now have two small brass hanging plates fitted for ease of screwing to the wall.
The shelves are in good original condition except for slight damage to one of the base finials which you can’t actually see. The shelves are a pleasing colour with waxed finish.
