Object Description

A rare early Victorian period Indian Colonial silver tea caddy spoon in old English pattern.

The spoon was made in Madras in c 1840 by George Gordon and Company.

The spoon is in excellent condition.

Indian colonial tea caddy spoons are met very infrequently and this is a very good example.

Dimensions, length 10.1 cm.
