Pair of Kent Staffordshire Pottery figures which feature giraffes underneath a palm tree, recumbent on an oval base. We think they have possibly been matched up together at some stage because they have significantly different base characteristics. Decorated ‘in the round’ – decoration to front and reverse. Vent holes to the underside. Book reference ,’Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835-1875′ Book 4, by A.& N. Harding, page 165, figure 4641.
