Object Description

A rare and important pair of late 18th century quartz lidded vases, each with wonderful gilded classical ormolu scrolling foliate mounts and handles, terminating in lion heads, claws and ring drops. Raised on circular neoclassical ormolu bases. Size: 20″ (51cm).
