Object Description
Circa 1860, rare pair of Anglo-Indian hardwood side chairs. The oval backs with fluted uprights and crisply carved oak and acorn decorations including in a pierced oval splat. The overstuffed seat in pale leather upholstery with serpentine front and sides over seat rails with oak leaf pierced carvings. The cabriole supports with acanthus carved knees and toes.
