The delicate all over shrub design on the main field with an ivory background, it has been executed beautifully.  Crisp colours and a soft high wool pile, this pair of runners are a rare masterpiece of weaving from this era.  The smaller minor borders are lovely rich reds, with a darker blue almost black main border, flowing green small vines and red flowers make up the design.  In unbelievable condition, magnificent wool with a lush wool pile.
