Object Description
An Extremely rare Charles I Silver Pair of Scissors, C1635-40; one of the earliest recorded pairs of silver scissors – cf the example in the Albert Collection p.321; the steel blades are stamped ”TAX” on one side and a neat little makers mark of a halberd on the other.
Approx 4 ½ ins long, and 1 ½ ozs in weight
