Object Description
This rare Provincial George I silver Hanoverian rat tailed basting spoon was made in Exeter in 1725, it measures 13.25 inches in length and is engraved to the back of the stem with the initials P over I*B and the date 1726, it has a large well formed bowl with a well defined rat tail to the back and is in good condition weighing 3.75 ounces or 116 grams.
