Object Description
This rare provincial George II silver mug (almost 1 pint) was made in Exeter in 1750 by William Parry of Plymouth and measures 4.75 inches tall by 5 inches from the handle across and is 3.25 inches in dia across the top and 3 5/8 inches across the base, it has a cast double scrolled handle with plain thumb piece and is fully and clearly hallmarked under the base along with the engraved initials of L.M above J.G 1750. It is in very good condition weighing 11.2 ounces or 348 grams.
