This elegant 19th century bookshelf is of a form which we have seen before, but not very often. The design is particularly distinctive and incredibly elegant whilst at the same same time offering great functionality for a whole host of different uses and places around the home.

The item is constructed from good quality Rosewood and clearly emanated from one of the top workshops of the time when taking into account the quality of the timber and construction. The little wooden castors are of course original and a really sweet feature which offer a good indication as to the quality throughout.

As with all of the items which we offer for sale this little etagere, or whatnot, has been attended to by our highly skilled antique furniture restorers in the traditional manner and received a natural wax polish before being offered for sale, meaning it is in good, clean retail condition ready to be placed straight into use.
