Object Description
Circa 1815, rare set of 8 Regency mahogany dining chairs. With shaped, curved top rail with foliate carving to the sides and gadrooning, over a pierced, foliate carved center rail. The recently traditionally re-upholstered drop-in seat over a shaped seat rail (to front) with carved flower heads. On splayed back legs and Gillow’s style front legs which are carved, fluted and turned.
