Object Description
It is rare to find a solid silver carriage clock of ‘standard form’, i.e. with pillars to the uprights and glass panels to five sides.
This miniature carriage clock bears the London silver hallmark for 1892.
The French eight day movement has the original jewelled lever platform escapement, visible through the top glass, and has a fold-flat key for winding.
The white enamel dial has Roman numerals, and matching blued steel hands.
Beveled glasses to all sides.
