Circa 1835, rare William IV mahogany partners writing table. The rectangular top with figured Spanish mahogany banding, crossbanded foreedges and quality burgundy hide writing surface with panels of gilt tooling. The front with 5 frieze drawers with finely turned handles and ash liners flanking a kneehole recess with arched brackets. With matching drawer configuration to the rear; all supported on sturdy turned legs with ring turnings.
