Height 8cm 3 1/4in
Diameter 40cm 15 3/4in
Pauly & C. established glass making workshops on the Venetian island of Murano in 1866. Pauly & C. are world famous for their modern interpretations of traditionally made Italian glass, using the same secret glass techniques employed in the historic 17th and 18th century Murano glass workshops.
This fine red Murano glass dish is typical of Pauly & C.’s exceptional eye for detail. The apparently simple form belies the sophistication of the almost invisible turned rim and shaped bowl.
