Object Description
A good quality and very original mahogany dial clock dating to the early 19th century. It has a slim outer rim with a cast brass bezel and a high convex glass. The case is of traditional pegged construction, retaining its original pegs. It has an 8 day fusee pendulum movement with shaped plates. The convex enamel dial is signed by the original maker, Thomas Harris of Bath. He is listed as a maker in fashionable Bath 1812-1825, working in upper Borough Wall.
