Object Description

An exceptionally good Regency Mahogany and Brass Bound Campaign Writing Slope with a fitted interior, secret drawers below the top section and a secret drawer to the base. Ca. 1820

Note: The key is turned anti-clockwise to lock the box and the secret panel is spring-loaded and opens by depressing the ink bottle section base. To replace the panel, depress the base, close the panel and release the base.
