Object Description
Circa 1810, Regency mahogany toilet mirror. The bevelled edge mirror in a shaped mahogany frame is held in place by two tapering, fluted uprights finishing with brass finials. The box underneath the mirror has a flame mahogany ebony inlay on the fore edge and beneath are three drawers of different sizes. The centre drawer is the largest, and has had a lock filled in, giving the impression of a small diamond escutcheon. This unusual piece stands on four turned elegant bun feet.
