Object Description

A Regency octagonal mahogany games table,the top with an outer band of satinwood strung with ebony and an inner band of harewood strung with brass.The centre is pale veneered mahogany and ther games board has alternate squares of rosewood and Tamo ash,an expensive veneer imported from Japan.The octagonal stem is mahogany with alternate brass strips on to a circular platform,three legs with scroll feet.English Circa 1820.

Object Condition

Good original colour and patina,the table is also a good height for a lamp or being octagonal would also sit well in a corner.
