Object Description
Circa 1820, Regency period faux rosewood (on solid padouk) bergère chair. The shaped back with moulded top rail and curved supports that extend down as panelled arms are supported on turned, tapering columns. The sides with double caning and caned seat (could do with squab cushion). Supported on tapering, ring turned legs with original brass caps and castors to the front, and outswept rear supports with low brass castors.
