Object Description

A Very Good Quality Late Regency Period, 19th Century, Rosewood Duet Stool, Or Piano Stool, Having Upholstered Rectangular Seat Over Well Figured Frame With Moulded Channel And Applied Roundel Decoration, Raised On Elegant Bulbous Turned And Tapering Legs.

This fabulous quality little rosewood stool is really incredibly elegant and sophisticated indeed. It is constructed from very high end rosewood timbers and boasts excellent carved decoration. The legs in particular are very detailed and extremely well executed indeed.

The upholstery featured on top is in exceptional condition having been recently replaced and looks really good on the stool. Overall the rest of the condition is very good with no structural defects or anything aesthetically displeasing to speak of.

Perfect for a host of spaces around the home, this stool is also something which could be used for a whole host of different purposes aside from just the original obvious intention as a stool. It is also good to know however that it is still very much sturdy and robust enough to be used for its original purpose some 200 years after its constuction.

Overall it is in really good sound condition and ready for immediate placement within the home having been inspected at our workshops by our trained antique furniture restorer and received a natural wax polish before being placed on sale.
