Object Description
Circa 1810. A quality Regency mahogany twin pillar dining table, plus one extra original leaf. The two D shaped tops in fine figured mahogany with reeded foredge. The additional leaf is held in place by 4 brass clasps, the D ends rest on elegant and stylish bulbous stems finishing on fluted hipped saber legs with rondels on the top, capped with an exhibition quality cast and gilded toe with rococo and foliate casting with original castors beneath. There is a disk to the underside with the maker or retailers name ‘Kerr’s Furnishers, Helensburgh’.
