Object Description

Rene Lalique opalescent glass, ‘Coquilles’ box. Blue stained detailing. This pattern features cockle shells. Stencilled makers mark to the underside of the base, ‘R LALIQUE’. Book reference: Marcilhac 71.

Object Condition

Very good. Miniscule nibble to one shell on the base. Blue staining worn in places and is possibly later refreshed – is not water-fast.
