Rene Lalique Opalescent Glass ‘Naiade’ Statuette. Grey stained details. Features a naiad crouching, holding a shell(?) up to her ear. In Greek mythology, the naiads are a type of female spirit or nymph, with fish tails. They preside over wells, fountains, springs, streams, brooks and other bodies of fresh water.
