Rococo Style Sevres Style Porcelain and Ormolu Carriage Clock

Dimensions: Height 18cm, width 10cm, depth 8.5cm
The carriage clock is of rectangular form and is crafted with a rectangular ormolu case set with Sevres style porcelain plaques to each side. The front plaque features a pink ground with gilt arabesques, and the clock dial is painted with black Roman numerals on white circles to the centre, with ormolu hands and a putto to the centre of the numerals. The plaques to either side of the clock are decorated with pink and gilt borders, and each feature central painted putto. The back of the clock is set with a pane of glass to reveal the mechanism, and all is set on a stepped unadorned ormolu base.
