Object Description
An ancient Roman, bronze, propeller-shaped, belt stiffener with additional decoration. The belt fitting consists of a pair of triangles, flanking a central boss. A horizontal bar, with an incised dot-motif, has been applied across the top, as additional decoration. Both triangular protrusions are also decorated with the same dot-motif along their edges and have two perforations in each corner for fixation. The rivets still remain within their holes.
