Ca. 1st-2nd Century AD

Eastern Mediterranean to Middle East. A Roman translucent glass jar, with a light blue-green tinge. It has a thick, splayed rim that is folded over and into a short, concave neck. The body is squat and bulbous, with a slightly pushed-in bottom. Throughout the vessel, there are scattered areas of light iridescence.
