Roman Gold Pendant with Garnet

Object Description

A small, delicate Roman gold pendant featuring a garnet cabochon inset to both sides. The semi-precious stones are encased in a thick band of gold. A loop has been applied to the top for suspension.

Object Condition

Very fine condition, small chip to the side of one of the garnets. Encrustation visible to the surface.
