Object Description
A very fine Roman beaker blown from translucent green glass. The beaker sits upon a circular stemmed foot from which the sides slightly flare outwards as they rise. The rim is thickened and out-splayed. There are several horizontal wheel-cut lines around the body of the beaker. A prominent pontil mark is visible to the base of the concave foot. Earthly encrustation is visible to both the interior and exterior of the piece.
