Object Description
An exquisite Roman double balsamarium in translucent green glass. The vessel has been formed as a pair of conjoined tubes, with slightly flared tops and thickened rims. Two long, curvy handles have been drawn and tooled on both sides, starting near the base of the body and ending at the rim. Although their use is more decorative than practical. There is a pontil mark at the base of the balsamarium. The vessel is mounted on a custom-made stand.
