Object Description
A very fine Ancient Roman flask, formed from an attractive green glass and featuring neat, curved ribbing. The vessel features a globular body, resting upon a flat base with a central pontil impression. A cylindrical neck extends evenly to a wide rim with a folded lip. Neat, shallow ribs adorn the body, spiralling downwards to the right. Beautiful polychromatic iridescence features to the surface, alongside earthy encrustations and some scratches and weathering to the glass. There is a small hole near the base of the body.
