Ca. 1st – 3rd Century AD
Roman glass jar with a wide mouth. The jar is remarkably colourless with a slight blue-green tinge and encrustation. It has an splayed rim, folded over and in with a hollow projecting roll below for added detail. It has a funnel neck, with a flat shoulder projecting into a bulbous body with a concave lower end and pushed in bottom.
