Object Description
An Extremely Good Quality 19th Century Regency Period Rosewood Lamp Table, Or Occasional Table, Of Rectangular Form, Having Superbly Figured Top Over Turned Central Column With Four Elegant Sabre Legs, Terminating On Original Decorative Brass Castors.
A relatively commonly found Regency design of occasional table which boasts superbly figured rosewood veneers, exceptional quality of construction and some extremely high quality, crisply decorated original brass castors. It also remains in excellent condition with just a few very minor historic blemishes which one has to look extremely hard to even locate.
The perfect size for an absolute host of spaces around the home, it is both beautiful and practical. It would work just as well alongside a sofa or library chair in the living room to place a drinks glass on top of, as it would in the drawing room with a lamp perched atop as a regency lamp table, or even in the bedroom as a regency bedside table.
As with all our items this table has been attended to in our worksops by our highly trained, skilled, traditional antique furniture restorers, before being offered for sale, meaning it has received any work required to ensure it is ready to place straight into the home, including a natural wax polish.
