Object Description
Royal Blue Burmese sapphire and diamond ring. Set to centre with an octagonal mixed cut natural unenhanced Royal Blue Burmese sapphire in an open back claw setting with a weight of 2.16 carats, flanked by four rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.45 carats, to a geometric flank solitaire design featuring angular corner claws, a pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to raised shoulders and flowing through to a solid square shank. Tested platinum, circa 1920, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5782-679.
