Object Description
Royal Blue Burmese sapphire and diamond ring. Set to centre with one cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced royal blue Burmese sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.46 carats, surrounded by ten round single cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.30 carats, further enhanced with six square baguette cut diamonds in open back channel settings with a combined weight of 0.20 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.50 carats, to an oval cluster design with scalloped edging, an elegantly pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by raised diamond set shoulders with scrolling open work detail, smoothing down to a solid D-shape shank.
